India, May 1 -- English singer Zayn Malik's recent hospitalisation has led to an outpouring of concern (and bouquets!) from fans, prompting a request from his family to redirect the gesture. On April 17, Zayn, 33, shared a photo from a hospital bed without disclosing details about his condition, and postponed his scheduled UK shows. Following this, fans began sending flowers in large numbers, until Wednesday night, when London-based florist The Hidden Bouquet said it would stop taking further orders due to the volume (inset). "If you would still like to make a meaningful gesture, the Malik family would greatly appreciate donations being made to the Palestine Project," the note read.
