India, March 15 -- V eteran actor Neena Gupta became the subject of viral speculation after attending the wedding reception of actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. Photos of her on the red carpet led to rumours that she was pregnant, prompting the 66-year-old to speak out. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Neena addressed the chatter with her trademark wit: "This is all I need, a real-life Badhaai Ho," she joked, referencing her 2018 film about a middle-aged couple expecting a child. Clarifying the situation, she added: "There is no Badhaai Ho. I am not pregnant. The saree material was thick, which made me look bulky at the event. But I must say, I love all this speculation about my pregnancy at my age. It shows we are evolving as a nation." Neena's personal life has often attracted public attention.
