India, Aug. 8 -- We have seen those heroes before on screen, but they are getting a new makeover for the new gen audience. As Kit Connor's casting as Cyclops gathers more steam, here's a look at some of the actors who have either recently done or are set to bring alive these beloved heroes alive on the screen Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider The audience had been waiting for Ryan to step into the superhero genre and the actor finally announced his entry to the Marvel Cinematic Universe at Comic Con recently. The actor is taking up the mantle from Nicolas Cage to play Johnny Blaze, a motorcycle stuntman who sells his soul and becomes the Ghost Rider, a bounty hunter of evil demons. His film will release in theatres in 2028. Kit Connor as Cyclops The recent reports have gathered steam that Kit Connor, known for the gay teenage romance Heartstopper, may be stepping in to play Scott Summers aka mutant Cyclops in the X-Men Reboot. The superhero has always been seen as the captain of the team of Mutants, and is known for the powerful beams of energy emitted from his eyes that he controls through a visor and special sunglasses. Cyclops has been played before on screen by James Marsden and Tye Sheridan. Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man Nicholas Galitzine starred as Prince Adam and He-Man in the live-action Masters of the Universe movie release in May this year. With nearly limitless superhuman strength, speed, and durability, He-Man is known as the most powerful man in the universe, but Galitzine brought a more human portrayal of the character in the recently released film as he tried finding his way home from Earth. Sadie Sink as Jean Grey Jean Grey is often seen as one of the X-Men superheroes who has the capability to bring hell on Earth if gone to the dark side. The recently released Spider-Man: Brand New Day, gave the audience a glimpse of that as Sadie Sink became the telepathic superhero in it. Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner have played Jean in the X-Men films before, and Sadie is now expected to join the franchise reboot. David Jonsson as Black Panther Taking on the baton from the late Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther is no east task, but David Jonsson has taken up that responsibility. It was recently announced at Comic Con that the actor is the new Black Panther in the series' third film, slated for release in 2028. David will play a grown-up version of Prince T'Challa II (Toussaint), the son of T'Challa and Nakia....
