India, June 16 -- Actor Sanchita Ugale, known for her work in television shows Kumkum Bhagya, Wagle Ki Duniya and Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi, died by suicide on June 14. She was 22. According to an NDTV report, the incident took place at her residence in Sai Santoshi Building in Aachole Village, Nalasopara East. Police said Sanchita had locked herself inside her bedroom and was later found hanging from a ceiling fan. Family members and local residents rushed her to Maharashtra's Vasai-Virar Municipal Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. Following the incident, police reached the spot and carried out the necessary procedures. An inquest report was prepared and the body was sent for post-mortem examination. Based on a complaint filed by her father, Machhindra Ugale, Achole Police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) on June 15. Police officials said the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be determined and investigations are underway.
