India, Nov. 4 -- F ans of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise may have reason to rejoice, more than nine years after the last instalment hit theatres. American actor Johnny Depp recently revealed that he is open to reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow. "If things are exactly where they need to be with regard to how they are going to top off the Pirates franchise. the only involvement I really want to have, truly, is just to send them off on a better note," he told Entertainment Tonight when asked about a possible return. The 63-year-old also expressed his willingness to collaborate with producer Jerry Bruckheimer on future projects. "Doesn't matter. if it is Jerry. We have a deep friendship," he added.
