India, May 23 -- A
ctor Jackie Shroff, who is gearing up for his upcoming film The Great Grand Superhero, is returning to the superhero genre more than 40 years after playing one in the 1985 film Shiva Ka Insaaf. The actor shares that he took advice from his son, actor Tiger Shroff, who previously played a superhero in A Flying Jatt (2016).
Speaking about Tiger's guidance, Jackie says, "Tiger gave me a lot of advice on how to wear the rubber suit. He told me that I needed to drink plenty of water, because you tend to sweat a lot in it. But the challenge is that you can't go to the washroom for nearly eight hours because of the suit."
The film also features several young child actors, including Shivansh Chorge, who plays Jackie's grandson. Reflecting on his experience of working with children, the 69-year-old says, "I had a fantastic time with them. We played games and chatted a lot, but the moment the camera rolled, they turned into absolute professionals. There is amazing competition among them as well. Honestly, I got to learn a lot from them and their dedication."
Jackie also shares that he would love to see his daughter, entrepreneur-reality TV star Krishna Shroff, step into the superhero space someday. "If we get a film where she can play a supergirl, I would love that. She can do anything, and if she puts her heart into something, she can achieve it. So far though, there doesn't seem to be any such intention," he concludes....
