India, March 25 -- Delhiites, get set for a rendezvous with art and the artists, with the 1st International Film Festival Delhi (IFFD) set to roll out the red carpet from today! From international film screenings, to a plethora of stars being in attendance, there would be something for every cinephile. Chairperson of the festival, Vani Tripathi Tikoo tells us, "Delhi isn't just the Capital of India, it's a confluence of various cultural explosions coming together. With this film festival, the Capital will reclaim it's dignity on the global cinematic map." Vani, who has curated the entire international section, emphasises on why it will be important for all film school students, "Students have to struggle to visit film festivals,, they struggle to have interface with filmmakers across the world, or reach the festivals in the first place. I have created a lab in IFFD, called the Producers' Lab, which will let students get mentored by the masters." FOR MORE DETAILS, TURN INSIDE...
