India, Aug. 6 -- Ever since the web series Musafir Cafe, featuring Vikrant Massey, Mahima Makwana and Vedika Pinto, began winning hearts on Netflix, fans haven't just been rooting for Chander and Preeti's romance. They've also fallen for the cafe that quietly became the third protagonist of the story, with many wondering if it exists in real life or not. It does. Located in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, the cafe is Jharipani Castle, a 1930s heritage property known for its colonial charm, scenic valley views and timeless old-world appeal. Thanks to the series, it's now attracting fans eager to visit the 'real-life Musafir Cafe'. According to Vikram, host of Jharipani Castle, very little had to be altered. "Instead of transforming the property through elaborate construction, the art department elevated what was already there. A reading gazebo appeared in one corner, books filled newly installed shelves, colourful prayer flags fluttered across the property, while Preeti's Corner, with its now-iconic Promise Wall, gave the castle the emotional identity that audiences instantly connected with," he says. Since Musafir Cafe premiered, inquiries through social media have surged, with bookings seeing a noticeable spike. Beyond stays, Jharipani Castle is also receiving requests for pre-wedding shoots, intimate celebrations and creative productions. To preserve the property's tranquillity, however, access remains limited to guests with confirmed reservations or prior approval. Filming coincided with Mussoorie's busy winterline season, making it a challenge to balance production with hospitality.
