India, July 26 -- Workin from home may save the daily commute, but it also blurs the line between office and home. A Delhi woman (@heena.yaar) has gone viral after claiming her brother, who earns less than she does, gets more respect simply because he leaves the house for work.
Content creator Heena Dogra shared an Instagram video comparing her work-from-home routine with her brother's office schedule. She said while her brother works 9 am to 5 pm, her workday often stretches until 9 pm, yet she is still expected to handle household chores. "My brother goes to the office, earns less than I do, but still gets more respect," she said, adding that her family often asks, "Who pays you for sitting at home?" She also joked about working in mismatched tops and pyjamas instead of formal office wear.
Dogra said family members expect her to pause meetings to serve tea and snacks whenever guests arrive because she is "at home". She ended the video by sarcastically saying her company had allowed her to work from home so she could entertain guests.
