India, June 5 -- It's been decades since Indian-Australian video jockey and actor Anusha Dandekar regularly walked the ramp or faced the camera. But performing before a live theatre audience in the Capital recently for her play Lovable Rascal reminded her just how "intense" the experience can be. The smell of petrichor after a fresh downpour takes her back to the days when she would shoot on Delhi's streets and spend time exploring its markets. After a moment's thought, she recalls one of her favourites - Sarojini Nagar. "I was shooting there once for MTV, and it was so much fun," she tells us, adding, "Clothes, jewellery, everything was displayed outdoors, and I had a great time being there. I'm very good at bargaining!" Anusha shares some of those Sarojini purchases even made it into the shoot. "If something looks good on me, I don't mind where it comes from. I can wear clothes from anywhere," the 44-year-old adds. While her visits to Delhi today are largely work-focused, she remembers a time when every trip included shopping and food outings. "Now it's mostly about coming and going with a gig in between. But earlier, I would make time to go out, shop and eat. The food in Delhi is amazing," she signs off....
