India, June 28 -- Got an old domino set collecting dust? Turn it into a stylish set of coasters in under an hour. This easy DIY project upcycles old game pieces into unique tabletop decor, with one standard 28-piece domino set making three to four coasters. Lay out eight dominoes in a square, alternating between horizontal and vertical rows to create a woven pattern. Once you're happy with the layout, trace the shape onto a cork sheet or felt backing and cut it to size. Stick the dominoes to the backing using super glue, epoxy or Gorilla Glue. Make sure each domino is firmly attached to both the base and the pieces beside it. Place a few heavy books on top and leave the coaster to dry for 2-24 hours, depending on the adhesive.
