Golfer Gangesh joins Asia Book of Records

eteran golfer Gangesh Khaitan has added another remarkable milestone to his illustrious journey, earning a place in the Asia Book of Records for the longest span of representing India in golf championships - an extraordinary 55-year journey from 1970 to 2025.
Born on September 26, 1953, Khaitan continues to remain deeply committed to the sport, representing India across national and international platforms in junior, national, and senior categories. His enduring presence on the greens for over 55 years reflects not just consistency but an unwavering passion for golf. The achievement was officially verified by the Editorial Board of the Asia Book of Records on March 2, 2026.
Reflecting on the milestone, Khaitan says, "Golf has been more than a sport to me - it has been a lifelong journey of discipline, learning, and representing my country with pride."
Still competing at the highest levels, he has also been recognised by The Limca Book of Records and The India Book of Records and recently won the Asia Pacific Senior Golf Championship in his category for two consecutive years (2024 & 2025).HTC...
