From runway to innovation
India, May 24 -- Designers, architects, industry leaders and creative professionals gathered at the Okhla campus of IIAD (Indian Institute of Art and Design), which has now transitioned into UDIT (The University of Design, Innovation and Technology), for UNFOLD 2026, the institution's annual graduate show. The two-day showcase celebrated the graduating batch across disciplines through exhibitions, panel discussions, industry interactions, runway presentations and award ceremonies. The event marked the culmination of students' academic and creative journeys, bringing together voices from the worlds of fashion, architecture, design, media and business. The showcase reflected UDIT's practice-led approach to education, blending innovation, storytelling and industry engagement across creative fields.
Emerging from over a decade of studio-led learning at IIAD, UDIT positions itself as India's first university built for creators, integrating design, technology and management within a unified academic framework.
