India, March 15 -- Actor Fatima Sana Shaikh has often spoken about her battle with Epilepsy to help raise awareness of the neurological condition. Now, on actor Soha Ali Khan's podcast All About Her, she recalled her first seizure and diagnosis during the filming of her debut film, Dangal (2016). Recalling her earliest seizure, Fatima said she remembers very little from the episode. "I just remember feeling a lot of fear and passing out and ending up in the hospital," she said, recalling that it happened during a dance class when she was 15. Her classmate even tried to put her hand in Fatima's mouth, following the common belief, "bolte hain naa 'chamach daalo, yeh daalo'," and ended up getting bitten. "I woke up in the hospital with people looking at me. I was disoriented. I didn't know where I was, and I started crying," she shared. She also revealed that a doctor initially dismissed it, saying, "Oh, this is for attention. 'maybe kuchh drug use hoga'." The 34-year-old said she later experienced similar episodes while training for Dangal. She described sensing "auras", a growing light in her vision before a seizure. "Woh time pe kya hota tha naa, mujhe auras aate the," she said. During one such moment on set, she warned the team: "Maine bola mujhe seizure aane waala hai." Luckily, Aamir Khan, Sanya Malhotra and trainer Kripa Shankar Bishnoi were around. "Sabne fatafat Google kiya. unko answers mile. And then eventually I think as a production house, they took it upon themselves ki we have to figure out what this is because a lot was riding on me, the whole film," said the actor.HTC...
