India, Oct. 2 -- Rapper Macklemore's Free Palestine Tour has sold out all three European dates in Dublin, Paris and London, scheduled later this month. The recently announced concerts aim to raise funds for organisations supporting Palestinians. Sharing the news on Instagram on Wednesday, Macklemore said he was "blown away" by the response. "All three shows sold out immediately," he wrote, adding, "We put these shows together fast and in community, believing that musicians can stand in solidarity with Palestine, use the stage to raise funds and show what collective action can look like." This comes after Macklemore was dropped as an opening act from the US leg of singer Ed Sheeran's Loop tour last month over his pro-Palestine comments. He alleged that the stadium owner Robert Kraft personally asked Sheeran to bar him from the venue. The decision drew criticism, while other opening acts reportedly walked out in solidarity and fans protested outside Sheeran's concerts. htc...
