India, Oct. 14 -- M runal Thakur has had a lacklustre 2026 thus far, with most of her film releases faring poorly at the box office. However, the actor, whose latest outing is Pooja Meri Jaan, believes not all criticism deserves to be taken seriously. She shares, "I have always been that person who takes feedback, but I also don't want to take the negative feedback from people who do not have a display picture of their own." Thakur also emphasises that a film's success cannot be measured by its theatrical run alone. Citing the 2023 film Laapataa Ladies as an example, she says, "When it came out in theatres, people didn't appreciate it. But the moment it was out on OTT, everyone was like, 'Oh my god, why did we miss this movie?'" Thakur says she witnessed something similar with her film Dacoit: A Love Story. "A lot of fans have apologised for not watching it on the big screen," she shares, adding, "But it is the choices of the audience. Because it is also how you market a movie. Everything has become a little different now."...
