India, Sept. 27 -- Good food, high energy, and heavy dhol beats filled the air as the Royal Danish Embassy in Delhi marked Denmark Day on Friday. Diplomats and dignitaries turned up to enjoy the unique mix of Nordic cool and Indian warmth. Speaking at the party, Ambassador of Denmark to India Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen said, "We (India and Denmark) share a genuine fascination with food, good company, Danish hygge, and Indian hospitality." The real pulse of the evening came alive as guest of honour Danish-Indian musician Navtej Singh Rehal aka Nav, lead singer of Bombay Rockers, took to the stage, performing crowd favourites such as Aari Aari (also remixed for Dhurandhar: The Revenge) and Rock Tha Party with live dhol keeping the energy high. Speaking onstage, he said, "It's a true honour for me to be here in India, in my motherland, though I was born and raised in Denmark... I believe music has a unique way of crossing borders and bringing people together, and I feel incredibly proud to be part of that bridge."...
