India, Oct. 18 -- Actor Kriti Sanon has recently approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection of her personality rights. On Friday, Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav asked her lawyer, Pravin Anand, to submit judgments and research on the scope of these rights and the jurisdiction of the court's Intellectual Property Division (IPD). "Can you give me some research paper? Please give a compilation. Give me judgments and your understanding regarding personality rights," the judge said, adding that he would consider a comprehensive order after reviewing the material. Anand submitted that these rights cover a person's name, voice, face, image, photographs and videos, particularly when used commercially without consent. He maintained that there was no jurisdictional issue in Sanon's case. The matter will next be heard on October 29.
