India, Oct. 15 -- American singer Kelly Clarkson's public spat with Brooklyn curiosity shop Art of Play has taken an unexpected turn. The mechanical bird at the centre of the controversy, which was earlier 'not for sale', is now priced at a whopping $15 million (approx Rs.142 crore). The store's co-owner Adam Rubin told USA Today that interest in the bird surged following Clarkson's controversial visit, prompting him to price it at a markup. The row began on Saturday after Clarkson took to X to recount an unpleasant visit to the New York store, alleging she was treated as though she "couldn't afford" the bird, Molly. She compared her experience and related it to a scene from Julia Roberts' Pretty Woman (1990) where she is denied access to expensive items. The store, in turn, said that the bird was "permanently attached to the wall" and not for sale, calling the incident a "misunderstanding".HTC...
