Ariana Grande slams White House for using her song in 'barbaric' post
India, June 13 -- American singer Ariana Grande has criticised US President Donald Trump's administration after the White House's TikTok account used a version of her 2024 song Bye in a video featuring US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arresting and handcuffing people, reported Variety.
Reacting to the TikTok, posted on Tuesday, Grande commented, "Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense. Fck ice (sic)."
After the singer's response, the sound was removed from the TikTok video. Her comment also appeared to no longer be publicly visible.
The White House later responded to Grande's criticism in a statement, saying, "We'll say this one last time: what's actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal aliens who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens."
This is not the first time Grande has criticised the Trump administration's immigration policies. In September 2025, she had reshared an Instagram post criticising ICE raids and anti-trans rhetoric. htc...
