India, March 20 -- Artificial Intelligence (AI) is driving global conversations today, with recent developments placing it firmly at the forefront. Its growing influence across sectors is especially visible in education, where it is reshaping how students learn and institutions function. From personalised learning pathways to real-time academic monitoring, AI is emerging as a key enabler of inclusive, accessible, and future-ready classrooms. Experts highlight its potential to bridge learning gaps, support teacher decision-making, and deliver adaptive resources tailored to individual needs. AI is also improving academic outcomes through data-driven insights. As India accelerates its digital transformation, integrating AI into classrooms is becoming essential to building an equitable and future-ready education ecosystem. Reflecting this momentum, AI Evolution - The Maha Kumbh of AI, hosted by the Outlook Group at Dr Ambedkar International Centre, brought together national leaders, academicians, and industry experts to explore AI's role in transforming education. The conclave was presented by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University as Knowledge Partner. Leading institutions, including R V College of Engineering, Siva Sivani Institute of Management, Khaja Bandanawaz University, GLA University, and Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, participated, signalling strong academic commitment to AI adoption. Vice President CP Radhakrishnan emphasised the need for ethical, inclusive, and human-centric AI. "AI must augment human intelligence and be guided by principles that are indigenous yet globally impactful, ensuring benefits for society at large," he said, also highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's push towards self-reliance in chips, deep tech, cybersecurity, and AI. Cabinet Minister for Home, Power and Education Ashish Sood outlined Delhi's approach, stressing that AI should empower teachers, support learners, and enhance outcomes. "Through initiatives like Vidya Samiksha Kendra, the city uses AI for early diagnosis, real-time interventions, and personalised learning support via system-level dashboards and targeted school actions," he said. He added that the launch of AI Guide and AI Grid, India's first city-centric AI innovation movement, aims to engage nearly five lakh students in solving real-world problems and becoming AI Youth Ambassadors.
