Chandigarh, May 17 -- Former cricketer and actor Yograj Singh has moved a UT court seeking anticipatory bail in connection with an FIR registered over allegedly objectionable dialogues in the web series "Lukkhe". The FIR was lodged at the Sector-36 police station following a complaint alleging that certain dialogues in the series were derogatory and offensive towards women. The controversy also sparked objections over the alleged use of the name "Gurbani" for a female character and the depiction of a Chandigarh Police uniform in the show. The matter was later taken up by the Punjab State Commission for Women, which sought action from the police. Through his anticipatory bail plea, Yograj has sought protection from arrest while the police investigation in the case continues. The plea has yet to be listed for hearing....
