Chandigarh, Sept. 29 -- The Punjab State Women Commission has sought a detailed report from the DC and SSP, Kapurthala, regarding an alleged incident involving a girl student at LPU. Taking suo motu cognisance of incidents at LPU and Chitkara University, Rajpura, the commission directed senior civil and police officers in Kapurthala and Patiala districts to conduct inquiries and submit action taken reports by September 30.
