Chandigarh, June 5 -- Two men have been arrested by the UT police on Wednesday in a house-breaking and theft case reported from Dhanas. The team recovered stolen gold and silver ornaments, achieving 100 % recovery of the stolen property. The case was registered at Sarangpur police station on June 2 following a complaint by a Dhanas resident, who discovered her house lock broken and jewellery missing after returning from Bihar. The police launched a manhunt and arrested Gaurav alias Billa and Dharam Kumar, both from Dhanas. Police said the accused allegedly conducted prior surveillance of targeted houses before the theft. Gaurav had a previous criminal case against him, while Dharam had no prior record.HTC...
