Mohali, May 29 -- Two cadets from the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI) were commissioned as officers in the Indian Navy at the passing out parade held at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, inKerala. The newly commissioned officers included Vishesh Sood from Mohali, belonging to the institute's 10th course and Arpit Parashar from Dhuri, Sangrur, a cadet of the 9th course. The parade was reviewed by Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena of the Southern Naval Command. Both officers underwent two years of training at MRSAFPI before joining the National Defence Academy (NDA), where they completed three years of rigorous military training.
