Panchkula, June 9 -- The police arrested two snatchers on Sunday within 6 hours of a snatching incident in Panchkula. The snatched mobile phone and Activa used in the incident have been recovered. According to police, the incident took place on the morning of June 7 when the complainant was passing near the golf club in Sector 3. Two youngsters on a black-coloured Activa came and stopped her bicycle. According to the complaint, one of the accused grabbed her from behind while the other snatched her mobile phone from her pocket and fled. A case of snatching was registered at the Sector 20 police station. The accused were arrested from the Pir Muchhalla area on the same day. According to Panchkula DCP Srishti Gupta, the accused were arrested and snatched goods were recovered within 6 hours of the complaint in this case.
