Rohtak, July 20 -- Three members of a family were crushed to death by a reversing fuel tanker at a fuel station in the Motipura area of Siwani of Bhiwani district on Saturday night, police said. The deceased, Kalu Ram, 52, and Mange Ram, 45, were brothers and residents of Jhumpa village. The third victim was their 19-year-old nephew Sunil Kumar of Sidhanwa village. According to the police, the incident took place when the victims were standing near their motorcycle and a truck while reversing hit them. They were rushed to Siwani civil hospital. Sunil and Mange Ram were declared brought dead, while Kalu Ram was referred to Hisar due to his critical injuries. However, he scucumbed to his injuries during treatment. According to the police, all three victims worked as daily-wage labourers. Mangal Ram was employed as a masonry worker. They were travelling on a motorcycle to Garhwa for work. They had stopped at the petrol pump when the fuel tanker allegedly crushed them. Police said the fuel tanker has been seized and a case under relevant sections of BNS has been registered against the truck driver, who is absconding....
