Chandigarh, Aug. 2 -- The city's maximum temperature rose from 33.8degC on Friday to 35.2degC on Saturday, two degrees above normal. According to the IndiaMeteorological Department (IMD), chances of rain will continue in the coming days. Trace rain (less than 0.1mm) was also recorded in parts of the tricity on Saturday. The monsoon system continues to remain strong in the region. Due to this, a spell of heavy rain is expected in the next few days. The minimum temperature also rose from 26degC on Friday to 26.7degC on Saturday, which is at normal. Over the next three days, maximum temperature will remain around 34degC while minimum temperature will remain around 25degC....
