Pathankot, April 13 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia and party's state president and minister Aman Arora participated in a function here to mark the Hindu new year and said organising the event at a government level reflected a strong commitment to preserving and promoting cultural identity. Addressing the gathering, Sisodia said that those who misuse institutions for political gains cannot be considered true followers of Sanatan values. The function was organised at the Ramleela Ground in Pathankot, and the event was chaired by Sanatan Hindu Sangathan national president Vijay Sharma. Other dignitaries present were Punjab food, civil supplies and consumer affairs minister Lal Chand Kataruchakk, and tourism and cultural affairs adviser Deepak Bali. Kataruchakk highlighted Punjab's long-standing tradition of communal harmony and warned against divisive ideologies, stressing the importance of unity and mutual respect.
