Rebel AAP MPs, Mann separately call on Prez
Chandigarh, May 6 -- A group of rebel Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MPs, who switched to the BJP, and Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann met President Droupadi Murmu separately on Tuesday, triggering a sharp political face-off. MP Raghav Chadha, the face of the rebellion, submitted a representation to the President along with lawmakers Sandeep Pathak, Rajinder Gupta and Ashok Mittal, alleging harassment and politically motivated action by the AAP government in Punjab.
Later in the day, Mann met the President and sought termination of the membership of six of the seven rebel Rajya Sabha MPs elected from Punjab.P2...
