Chandigarh, Sept. 15 -- After a rainy Sunday, the city's maximum temperatures plunged to 33.8degC on Monday, one degree above normal. On Sunday, it had stood at 34.8degC. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), more relief is on the cards as there is a possibility ofshowers on Wednesday and Thursday. The minimum temperature slid from 24.9degC on Sunday to 21.6degC on Monday, three degrees below normal. Over the next three days, the maximum temperature will remain between 33degC and 34degC while the minimum will remain between 23degC and 24degC....
