PMLA probe: ED quizzes AAP MLA Raman Arora for 7 hours
Jalandhar, June 3 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday questioned Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Jalandhar Central Raman Arora for over seven hours after he was summoned by the investigation agency to join a probe in connection a money-laundering probe linked to two corruption and extortion cases registered against him.
The MLA reached the ED regional office to join the probe at 11.30am and was questioned for over seven hours. Arora refused to talk to the media after coming out of the ED office and left in haste.
The ED investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) stems from two cases registered last year against Arora by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) and the Jalandhar police. P2...
