Chandigarh, June 6 -- The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) International Stadium in New Chandigarh is all set to enter the history books when it hosts its first-ever Test match from June 6 to 10. The landmark fixture will see Shubman Gill-led India take on Afghanistan in a one-off Test, marking a significant moment for the region and its cricket-loving fans. Having already staged IPL matches and international white-ball fixtures, the state-of-the-art venue will now welcome the longest format of the game for the first time.
General stand tickets in the South Upper Tier have been priced at an affordable Rs.250, while seats in South Pavilion-A and Harbhajan Singh Pavilion-B will cost Rs.2,000 and Rs.2,500 respectively.
