Mohali, June 2 -- The Phase-1 police station in Mohali has busted an alleged vehicle theft gang and recovered nine stolen two-wheelers, including eight motorcycles and one Activa scooter. Deputy superintendent of police (City-1) Gurcharan Singh said the breakthrough came after a case was registered at Phase-1 police station on May 23 under Section 303(2) (theft) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Harvinder Kumar of Balongi with a stolen motorcycle. During interrogation, police nominated Bharat Kumar alias Mogu, a resident of Sector 56, Chandigarh, as a co-accused in the case....
