Mohali, Sept. 12 -- Police arrested a habitual snatcher who allegedly robbed a differently-abled man of his wallet in Zirakpur, while he was travelling on a wheelchair. The arrested accused has been identified as Maninder Singh, alias Monu, of Rajpura. Police also seized the motorcycle allegedly used in the crime and found that it had been stolen. According to police, the differently-abled man was travelling through Zirakpur on a wheelchair, when the two suspects approached him from behind on a motorcycle. One of them allegedly grabbed his wallet and the duo fled. A police team eventually arrested Singh on late Thursday night.
