Panchkula, Aug. 20 -- A 35-year-old unidentified man was killed on August 4, after allegedly being hit by an unknown vehicle on the Kalka-Zirakpur highway near the Sector 21-Maheshpur divider. Police said the injured man was found lying on the roadside around 1.25 am and was shifted to GMCH-32, Chandigarh, where he succumbed to his injuries later that day. Despite efforts, including public notices and displaying photographs at public places, his identity could not be established.
