Haridwar, July 18 -- Police arrested a man for allegedly raping his 95-year-old maternal grandmother on Friday in Manglaur area, police said. The accused was under the influence of alcohol when, on Thursday midnight, he committed the crime, police officials added. Police said the accused also attempted to strangle his grandmother, who eventually fell unconscious and revealed the ordeal after gaining consciousness.
