Panchkula, May 31 -- Two persons have been booked for murder after a 62-year-old man died following an assault over a dispute involving an irrigation pipeline in Tharwa village in Raipur Rani. The victim has been identified as Karam Singh while the accused are Daljit alias Jeeta and Rahil. The victim's son, Sandeep, told police that his father had gone to his field on Friday morning when he noticed that the pipeline supplying water to his land had been cut. The pipeline allegedly passed through the fields of the accused. When Singh questioned the accused, an argument reportedly broke out. The complainant alleged that the accused abused, pushed and manhandled his father, causing him to fall to the ground. He was declared brought dead at the civil hospital in Sector 6, Mohali.htc...
