Chandigarh, Aug. 23 -- The city recorded 0.8 mm rain on Saturday morning, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) stating that light to moderate showers are likely to continue over the next few days. Despite the rain and cloudy conditions in the morning, the day turned sunny, pushing the maximum temperature to 35degC, 2.2 degrees above normal. The maximum temperature was 34.3degC on Friday. The minimum temperature also rose slightly, from 25.7degC on Friday to 25.8degC on Saturday.
