Karnal, Aug. 9 -- Days after a dairy operator, Jeevan, was allegedly killed in Hisar, family members and representatives of Punia and Kundu khaps on Saturday blocked a major road in the town protesting against the police for their alleged failure to arrest the accused. Earlier, the Khaps had given a 48-hour ultimatum to SP Siddhant Jain to arrest the accused behind the murder. After the deadline expired, they arrived to meet the SP on Saturday.
