Key accused found dead in Nepal hotel
PATNA, June 15 -- Prince Yadav, brother of Gyan Bindu Academy director Roshan Anand and accused in the June 2 vandalism and firing incident outside Khan Global Studies in Patna's Mussalapur area, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a hotel in Nepal's Biratnagar, officials aware of the matter said on Sunday.
An officer said the Patna Police and Nepal Police are jointly investigating the death and whether it has any connection with the alleged coaching institute dispute between Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, and Roshan Anand, who is currently lodged in Beur Jail.
Speaking to HT over phone from Biratnagar, Morang superintendent of police (SP) Kabit Katuwal said Prince Yadav (24), a resident of Bihar's Saharsa district, was staying at Subha Hotel in Biratnagar Municipality when he suddenly fell ill on Saturday night. "He was taken to a hospital in Biratnagar around 10.30 pm. Doctors declared him dead at 11.30 pm," Katuwal said.
Morang DSP Santosh Shreshth said Prince's body bore injuries marks around the eye region. "We are waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of the death," he said.
Family members have termed the death suspicious. "He had travelled to Nepal with five friends. The circumstances appear suspicious," said his uncle Manoj Kumar.htc...
