Karnal, Sept. 12 -- Two days after a man and his son allegedly drowned in Batsali canal of Habri branch in Karnal's Nissing area, the divers on Friday fished out their bodies. The deceased were identified as Satnam Singh, 45, and his son Manush, 20, residents of Bir Badalwa village in the district. The incident happened when both were spraying paddy crop and Manush went near the canal to fill the spray tank with water. He reportedly slipped and fell into the canal. Seeing his son drowning, Satnam also jumped in to save him. Both were swept away by the strong current.HTC...
