Rohtak, March 4 -- A 30-year-old woman was allegedly shot dead by her husband at their residence in Birdhana village of Jhajjar on Monday evening, police said on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Anjali, who married Sanjay in December 2018. The couple has a five-year-old son. According to Jhajjar ACP Anil Kumar, the accused, Sanjay, was out on bail in a criminal case at the time of the incident. He allegedly shot his wife following a family dispute and fled the scene immediately after the crime. "A case of murder along with relevant sections of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused. He is currently absconding, and teams have been formed to arrest him," the ACP said.htc...
