Panchkula, May 29 -- A 45-year-old jeweller allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Sector 4 on Thursday afternoon. According to information shared by the Sector 5 police station, the man was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside the house. Police have shifted the body to the mortuary of the civil hospital in Sector 6. The post-mortem examination will be conducted onFriday. Police said no formal complaint has been received from the family so far. According to available information, the deceased had submitted a complaint to the police on May 26, alleging threatsand harassment by a few individuals.
