Chandigarh, July 10 -- After a video purportedly showing a municipal corporation (MC) inspector receiving a head and body massage from a cowshed attendant at the Makhan Majra gaushala (cowshed) went viral on social media, the Chandigarh MC has marked an inquiry. Authorities said a final decision regarding disciplinary action will be taken only after the inquiry is completed. The photographs and video purportedly show an MC inspector relaxing while an employee massages him inside the gaushala premises during duty hours. The gaushala has in the past faced allegations of negligence after several cows were found dead. The inspector denied the allegations and claimed that the circulating images and video may have been edited or generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
