Dehradun, Aug. 2 -- An Uttarakhand state secretariat official and his sister were arrested on Saturday in connection with the alleged dowry death of his wife, a government school teacher, four days after she was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her matrimonial home in Dehradun district's Harrawala village, police said. "On the basis of evidence, police arrested state secretariat official Saurabh Khatri, 36, and his sister, Surbhi Khatri alias Charu, 37, on Saturday," said SSP Pramendra Dobhal. Police said the two were arrested from their residence in Laxman Enclave of Harrawala in Doiwala block. The woman was found hanging on July 29.
