Shimla, July 14 -- After the unanimous election of the saffron party-backed candidates for the posts of president and vice-president in the Solan zila parishad, Himachal Pradesh BJP president Rajeev Bindal said that the outcome is a clear indication of the public mandate ahead of the 2027 assembly polls. Kumari Sheela was elected president, and Pankaj Sharma was elected vice-president. Bindal said this unanimous election clearly demonstrates that the people of Solan have placed their trust in the BJP.
