Chandigarh, July 28 -- A 28-year-old drug peddler was arrested for possessing 0.8 grams of heroin (chitta) on Sunday, police said. The recovery was made near the forest area adjoining Government High School in Sector 53 by a patrol team from the Sector 36 police station, officials said. The accused has been identified as Ricky alias Chhoti, a resident of Sector 52. Police said he confessed to have sold heroin for Rs.4,000 per gram. Meanwhile, the IT Park police station arrested another accused, Rajesh alias Nata, of Manimajra near New Indira Colony and seized 5.58 gram heroin.
