Ferozepur, Oct. 10 -- Amid a CBI probe into alleged corruption involving Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann's office, Bathinda MP and senior SAD leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Friday accused the AAP government of misleading people about the case. Addressing a party gathering at Zira, the Bathinda MP alleged corruption in government postings and police appointments. She criticised the state's financial position and accused the AAP government of using its financial assistance scheme for women to influence voters. She said the women-led "Maawan Dheeyan Di Fauj" had begun recording the names of "drug traffickers and those shielding them". "The records would be used for stringent action if the SAD returned to power. The SAD government would constitute a task force headed by a woman DGP to act against drug traffickers," she said.HTC...
