Chandigarh, July 10 -- A 30-year-old habitual motorcycle thief has been arrested with four stolen two-wheelers. The case pertains to an e-FIR registered on June 18 on the complaint of Amit Kumar of Sector 38-C, Chandigarh, who reported that his motorcycle had been stolen from the parking area outside a house in Sector 40B. During the investigation, the police examined CCTV footage from the area and, acting on a tip-off, arrested Sonu Singh, 30, a resident of Guru Nanak Colony, Mohali. During interrogation, the accused allegedly disclosed his involvement in other vehicle thefts, leading to the recovery of three more motorcycles bearing registration numbers CH-01CV-5804, PB-65S-1579 and UK-16B-0280.
